Symposium— Detailed Instructions

A symposium is a presentation session in which a topic — problem, issue, or question — is considered by several individual speakers who present their perspectives on the topic. Each individual presentation should provide a different viewpoint or approach to the central topic. Individual papers should provide distinct perspectives yet be integrated into a meaningful whole. Proposals should clearly define the central topic of the symposium and each individual paper should be integrally related to the topic. Submitters should avoid overly general topics and papers that are only loosely connected to a central theme. The value of the symposium is the sum of the contributions of each presenter to the central topic.
